These drawings date from mid-1984, when Matthew Schiernbeck & Charlie Hail first began to experiment with the idea of creating a comic book. This project was to follow the exploits of the "Highway Stars," a heavy metal power trio who had survived a biochemical holocaust and who now explored their strange new world in their customized Lamborghini Countach . . .
